SPLITOWEEN · Rules

Talk your way to 500 treats. Then split… or steal.

The short version

A match

Two trick-or-treaters start at opposite ends of a crooked street with 10 haunted houses. Read the clues around each house, knock, and talk the monster into treats. Say the wrong thing and the door slams — then you can try a 20-second trick for a small handful (25–40, by skill). Each house treats each player once. Curfew is 12 minutes.

When both buckets hold 500 treats (or curfew rings), you meet at the Crossroads table for the showdown:

The outcome depends on the other player's choice. It is never random. Choices are locked on the server and revealed at the same moment. No choice in time counts as SPLIT.

If nobody is found within 30 seconds you play Little Wisp, the Ghost Rival. Its policy is fixed and public: it splits if your Halo is 50% or higher (or you're new), and steals otherwise. Your Halo is your split rate across all showdowns.

If a player leaves or is gone for over 60 seconds, the one who stayed keeps their own treats, the leaver gets nothing, and no showdown is played.

The Candy Bank (daily leaderboard)

Only ranked matches count. The treats you take home after a ranked showdown go into your Candy Bank for today (UTC). You can play 10 ranked matches a day. Practice and friendly matches never count.

The top 10 Candy Banks make today's leaderboard. It's for bragging rights, not money: at 00:00 UTC the board starts fresh and the day's #1 goes up in the Hall of Haunts. Ties: whoever talked more treats out of monsters that day goes first, then whoever reached their total first.

The only way to earn SOL is the Swap Station below. Every treat you bank also goes into your swap balance.

The Swap Station

Next to the Hollow Gate, opposite the Costume Closet. Every treat you bank in a ranked match also goes into your swap balance, which never resets. Practice and friendly matches never add to it.

The rate is fixed: 500 treats = 0.02 SOL. The smallest swap is 500 treats, and you can have one swap waiting at a time.

When you ask for a swap, the treats leave your swap balance straight away. The operator checks every swap by hand (match logs, devices, flags), then pays it by hand to the wallet you signed up with, or cancels it and gives the treats back. Paid swaps show the transaction link. Swapping never changes today's Candy Bank or your place on the leaderboard.

Your account

You sign up with a name and the Solana wallet address your winnings should go to. You never connect or sign with a wallet here. You get a recovery code once — save it: it's how you sign in on a new phone or browser. Lose both the code and your device, and the account can't be recovered.
